Appliance Delivery, Basic Installation, and Haul-Away Information
Sam’s Club provides convenient home delivery with basic installation and haul-away of your old appliance. A service representative will contact you to confirm installation requirements. Please ensure your account information (address, email, phone) is current before ordering for a smooth delivery experience. You must be home during your scheduled delivery window.
1. Delivery: Available in limited locations within the continental United States only (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories, APO, and FPO addresses). Rescheduling fees apply if you’re unavailable during your scheduled delivery time.
2. Basic Installation: Installation teams cannot perform home modifications such as carpentry, plumbing, gas, or electrical work. Additional fees apply for work beyond basic installation. Basic Installation availability varies by location based on local codes and standards. The installation team will assess any additional requirements and provide a quote before proceeding. You are responsible for paying installers directly for work exceeding the included basic installation service.
3. Haul-Away: Haul-away service includes removal of your old appliance if it has been uninstalled before delivery. Complex installations (including over-the-range microwaves) may require separate delivery and installation appointments. The delivery team will not uninstall existing appliances; haul-away is handled by a licensed contractor during a follow-up appointment.
Delivery Team Safety Limitations
- Cannot remove shoes; will protect your home and merchandise
- Cannot alter property except for simple door removal
- Cannot modify cabinets or HVAC systems
- Cannot relocate or reconnect used appliances to home utilities
- Cannot convert gas or propane lines
- Cannot hoist appliances over objects or through windows
- Cannot handle exposed wires or corroded valves
- Cannot bring homes up to local code (customer responsible for hiring licensed plumber or electrician if needed)
- Cannot uninstall built-in appliances (haul-away available only if pre-uninstalled; built-in refrigerators not eligible)
